Irish Dance Classes resume

        Thursday, August 19, 2010.  

Classes will be held on Thursday & Friday evenings at Bella Prima Dance Studio in Hoover.  Thursday class times are:

          5:00 - 6:00 - Beginner I (Softshoe Only)

          6:00 - 7:00 - Beginner II (Softshoe and Beginner Hardshoe)

          6:00 - 8:00 - Intermediate to Advanced Soft & Hard Shoe

Friday Class Time is:

          6:00 - 7:00 - Beginner/Soft Shoe Only

Want to try Irish Dance?  The Drake School offers a free 1st class to any student wanting to try it out before committing to a class.  All you have to do is email drakealabama@charter.net or call 205-240-2068 to attend your 1st class. 

The Alabama Celtic Association proudly presents the Fuschia Band live in concert August 22, 2010 at Moonlight on the Mountain at 585 Shades Crest Road in Bluff Park.  Show begins at 7:00 and tickets are $15 available at the door.

The Fucshia Band is a group of four young men from Cork Ireland. Their take on traditional irish tunes and songs is filled with energy humour and fun!
